Key Information
The Hanningfield Uni-Hoist HMS (Hoist Manual Stationary) is a hand-wound lifting device for the simple raise and lower of light loads.
Technical Description
The Uni-Hoist HMS is perfect for the simple handling of small loads, such as light drums, containers or items of process machinery (e.g. mixers). The hand-crank mechanism is especially suitable for applications where minimal height adjustment is required, but can also be used for further travel distances (typically less than 3 metres).
The lifting mechanism is executed as a lead-screw, driven by a gearbox. The hoist is designed with mechanical stops to prevent over-travel, negating the need for electrical interlocks or encoders.
The hoist is complete with a fail-safe carrier nut, to prevent the unsecured slipping of the load in case of malfunction.
The unit can be mounted to a slewing ring, enabling base rotation of the column through 360° or utilise a double pivot arm; this is suitable for applications where the unloading / discharge of the container occurs in a different orientation to the loading position.
The Uni-Hoist HMS is available in one model and is suitable for application ≤ 125kgs.
