The Uni-Hoist HES is perfect for the automated handling of heavy containers, and can be used to Raise, Lower, Invert, Rotate and Dock; this ensures full control for a safe, accurate and repeatable process. These functions can be undertaken at the simple press of a button, or the hoist can be programmed to perform certain actions in a specified sequence. Controls can be supplied as pushbuttons or touchscreen HMI.
The lifting mechanism can be executed as a lead-screw or chain (depending on application), which is driven by a motor / gearbox arrangement. The unit can accommodate sensors for the automated positioning, slowing and stopping of the load (typically low-level interlock, high-level interlock, outlet-height interlock, base rotation interlock and load secured interlock). The hoist is complete with fail-safe safety devices, to prevent the unsecured slipping of the load in case of malfunction.
The post hoist can be mounted to a slewing ring, enabling base rotation of the column through approximately 350°; this is suitable for applications where the unloading / discharge of the container occurs opposite to the loading side.
The Uni-Hoist HES is available in three sizes:
1. Light-Duty (≤ 250kgs)
2. Medium-Duty (≤ 750kgs)
3. Heavy-Duty (≤ 2000kgs).
