Welcoming Our New Regional Sales Manager for DACH

Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Daniel Schweizer, and I am the Regional Sales Manager responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH). Based in Heilbronn, Germany, I bring more than 10 years of experience in powder processing and pharmaceutical equipment sales, having previously worked with Hosokawa Alpine and Frewitt.

Throughout my career, I have supported customers in the pharmaceutical industry — including API manufacturers, CDMOs, CMOs and nutraceutical companies — as well as the chemical, battery recycling and food sectors. My experience spans process equipment ranging from milling and screening to complete powder handling solutions.

I speak German, English and Russian, allowing me to support a broad international customer base.

What will your role involve?

My role is to support customers across Germany, Austria and Switzerland in identifying the right solutions for their process challenges. From milling and powder transfer to blending, containment and complete material handling systems, I look forward to building long-term relationships and supporting projects from initial concept through to implementation.

What trends are you seeing in the industry?

Across the pharmaceutical and wider process industries, demand continues to grow for containment, automation and improved process efficiency. Manufacturers are looking for safer handling of potent compounds, reduced operator exposure and more integrated process solutions, while sustainability and minimising product loss are becoming increasingly important.
