The Hanningfield Uni-Cap 10″ (250mm) is designed to be used as a dust seal or as a contained transfer method (with a hole cut in the centre).
Technical Description
The cap is designed to fit onto the Uni-Cap 10″ Mounting Ring, enabling it to be fitted or retrofitted to any process. This allows the dust cap to be used as a protective cover or alternatively a hole can be cut in the centre of the cap to accommodate a penetrating spigot up to 200mm diameter, enabling the dust tight transfer of powder.
The Uni-Cap 10″ has a nominal height of 36mm with a 250mm diameter. The 10″ mounting ring has a nominal height of 50mm with an outside diameter of 250mm and a wall thickness of 2mm.
As standard, the caps are manufactured from translucent silicone (FDA CFR 177.2600), but can be supplied in alternative materials (e.g. EPDM) or colours (e.g. blue) in dedicated batches to satisfy your application. We are also able to introduce new tooling for unlisted sizes upon request. Mounting rings are manufactured from 316L stainless steel (180 grit)
