Mental Health Awareness Week serves as an important reminder that small actions can make a real difference to wellbeing, connection, and support within the workplace and wider community.
Throughout the week, the team at Hanningfield took part in a range of activities designed to encourage positive conversations around mental health and create opportunities for colleagues to connect and support one another.
Activities included a nutrition and food demonstration session focused on healthy habits and wellbeing, litter picking within the local area, and taking time to recognise and thank colleagues for the contribution they make every day.
The week also included a breakfast morning held in memory of a much-loved colleague. During the event, donations were raised for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and PAPYRUS, two charities carrying out vital work to support mental health and suicide prevention.
At Hanningfield, mental health remains a subject close to our hearts, and Mental Health Awareness Week provides an opportunity to reinforce the importance of looking after ourselves and each other – not just this week, but throughout the year.
We would like to thank everyone who took part and contributed to making the week meaningful for our team and community.
