Team Hanningfield had a fantastic time cheering on our local team, Southend United at Roots Hall this week.
Southend played Woking FC and the game proved to be a dramatic one! Southend managed to come from behind to secure a goal before half time. Southend then scored a second goal in the 64th minute, only for Woking to equalise in the 68th, leaving the final result at 2-2. With four goals in total, the draw leaves Southend in 10th place in the National League.
Team Hanningfield enjoyed excellent hospitality in the newly renovated D2 Directors Lounge! We enjoyed drinks, a meal, and uninterrupted views of the game.
