Conical Mill Screens
We carry a wide range of screens to satisfy the required particle size across almost all cone milling applications. Choosing the right screen for your application is crucial in achieving your desired particle size range and enhancing the overall performance of the mill. Screens are available with a wide range of hole sizes, and the following hole shapes: Round, Square, Slotted, Grater, Conidur and Diffusion Bonded screens.
Our team of experts are on hand to guide you through the screen selection process. With over three decades experience in milling applications, we have a vast wealth of knowledge in offering solutions to common and niche milling challenges.
Round Hole Screen: Used for the particle size reduction of free-flowing materials, granules, small lumps and powders.
Square Hole Screen: Used for coarse milling applications, producing flakes of material, as well as being suitable for wet milling applications.
Slotted Hole Screen: Suited for wet granulation sizing and milling applications; these screens produce larger particle sizes than a square hole mill screen.
Grater Hole Screen: Employed for milling materials such as seeds and other hard products, for reclaim purposes (e.g. tablets, sweets, etc).
Conidur Hole Screen: Designed for milling hard materials (e.g. seeds, tablets, sweets) which require a more aggressive milling action.
Diffusion Bonded Hole Screen: This mill screen offers a pioneering design whereby it utilises no adhesive. This therefore offers an ultra-hygienic, GMP solution in conical screen mills. This innovative screen design enables customers to achieve further reduced particles compared with other standard screen designs.

Conical Mill Impellers
A wide range of impellers are also available for providing the right milling action (e.g. maximising throughput or minimising fines).
Impellers are available with the following arm profiles: round bar, square bar, reverse square bar, and bevel bar. We can also engineer custom impeller shapes upon request.
Round bar: The standard bar for dry particles allowing for the milling and gentle deagglomeration of raw material.
Square bar: The recommended bar profile for wet mass milling. This impeller is generally employed for general dry product milling and delumping, delivering a slightly finer particle size than round bar impellers.
Reverse square bar: This profile is used in order to achieve finer size particle distributions. It is ideal when dealing with non-heat sensitive materials to achieve smaller particle sizes.
Bevel bar: This profile is generally used for high throughput of more coarse materials through the mill.
Spare & Care Kit
The Hanningfield Uni-Mill range can be supplied with a ‘Spare & Care Kit’ covering all your planned (and unplanned) maintenance requirements. The spares and maintenance tools are supplied in a hard-shell carry case with part-specific foam inserts (complete with dual layer, two tone black / blue foam for easy identification of missing parts).
