Hanningfield designs and manufactures high-quality Particle Size Reduction Mills for the hygienic industries.
We have applied our expertise and years of experience in milling and sizing technologies into the equipment we build; delivering industry leading and reliable solutions to our customers. Hanningfield’s equipment has been successfully installed in major manufacturing facilities worldwide.
Uni-Mill: Particle Size Reduction Mills
Our range of particle size reduction mills (Uni-Mill) are suitable for different process applications including: de-agglomerating and de-lumping bulk materials; milling APIs; reclaiming broken tablets (e.g. pharmaceutical, nutraceutical) by grinding them back into powder for re-processing; sizing wet granulated particles before drying; and sizing dry granulated particles after drying and before tabletting.
Delivering fully scalable results, the mills are appropriate for applications ranging from small scale laboratory to pilot to full scale manufacturing. They achieve uniform size reduction and a narrow particle size distribution (PSD) with an easy to operate, low heat and noise generating design. The mills also offer excellent versatility as it is possible to produce a wide PSD spectrum with the same mill.
As standard, all contact parts are manufactured from 316L stainless steel (180 grit), with FDA compliant seals, gaskets etc. Non-contact parts such as frames, motor covers and control panels are manufactured from 304 stainless steel (150 grit). All standard materials of construction and surface finishes can be upgraded or downgraded upon request.
Hanningfield’s other size reduction equipment includes Lump Breakers and Sifters (Centrifugal Screening).
