Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex, Jennifer Tolhurst, said: “I am delighted that by presenting the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise to the family owned Hanningfield Process Systems Limited, that they are being recognised at the highest level for the design and manufacture in the UK of process machinery for the pharmaceutical industry and for their outstanding short-term growth in overseas sales over the last three years.”
Colin Ellis, founder and Managing Director at Hanningfield, said: “The hard work and dedication of our skilled workforce has enabled the company to flourish in the international arena of commerce. Without the integrity and diligence of our staff, we would not be in a position to receive such a high accolade as the Queen’s Awards.
“British made products are recognised around the globe for quality and innovation. It is a privilege to have the endorsement of the Queen’s Awards to further strengthen our international trade potential. I am extremely proud of the team at Hanningfield for their contribution to our success and look forward to future prospects.”
