Hanningfield’s Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) are designed for the handling and blending of powders in the pharmaceutical, biotech, nutraceutical, food, cosmetic and chemical industries.
IBCs are ideal for multi-product manufacturing as they can be filled and discharged away from mixing equipment. This allows the processing equipment to mix a number of different products within a short period and improve system efficiency.

We offer a wide range of IBC sizes to match a variety of throughput demands and system requirements.
Capacity typically varies between 150 and 2000 litres, but containers can be custom made to suit any process requirement or application.
A wide range of valves are available to be fitted to the IBCS for product charging and discharging.
We recommend that either a butterfly or slide valve is used in applications concerning powders, granules and the like.
When transferring tablets, we suggest a flexi-valve (soft silicone vein) as their design prevents tablets from shattering.
To suit your system requirements, various designs are available including castors for mobility, corner stacking profile and lifting loops for handling via forklift or post hoist.
