Product Profile
Vacuum conveying is a clean, simple and environmentally friendly method of transferring powders and granules within a contained system. The Uni-Vac system reduces the loss of materials through manual handling and saves time and money by eliminating costly labour intensive tasks. Vacuum conveying provides cost effective automation that will improve both production and reduce contamination; creating a cleaner and safer working environment,
The Hanningfield Uni-Vac system uses negative pressure to transport bulk material in a dust free manner through smooth bore conveying pipe-work. From pick-up to the discharge point, the system is totally enclosed, a major benefit to the environment and process personnel. The hygienic design of the Uni-Vac system has been derived from consultation with end-users, helping us determine the best possible performance to meet the specific demands of the pharmaceutical and associated industries.
The Hanningfield Uni-Vac system is commonly known as a 'lean phase' design. This economical method of materials handling is compact and versatile, offering good scope for handling a wide variety of products and applications. The 'lean phase' system is easy to use, maintain and clean, making turn around times between batches as short as possible. The term 'lean phase' is used as there is a high ratio of entrained air in the product line, suspending the product during transfer through the conveying pipe-work.
Supporting this efficient and low-cost technology, Hanningfield can draw upon over 20 years of designing and installing vacuum transfer solutions worldwide. Great emphasis is placed upon customer liaison to ensure the best possible system is provided to meet the exact application specifications and the individual requirements of the end user. An extensive range of special designs and associated vacuum conveying equipment are available including sack-tip stations, anti-static components, air containment valves and CIP.
