Product Profile
The Capsupol capsule polishing machine is suitable for polishing and cleaning excess dust from the surface of various types of capsules and tablets. The machine meets GMP standards and provides a cost effective answer to dust removal after capsule or tablet manufacture.
The filled capsules or tablets are loaded into the machine feed hopper from the tablet press or capsule filling machine by gravity feed. The outlet of the feed hopper directs the capsules or tablets into a horizontal cylinder. The cylinder contains a polypropylene rotating brush. The scrolling action of the brush gently moves the capsules or tablets along the cylinder towards the outlet. The continual movement of the capsules or tablets are they are transported by the rotating brush allows thorough dedusting and polishing of the surfaces. Further effective dedusting is created by connection of a vacuum hose to the horizontal cylinder body. As loose dust is removed, it can be piped away to a suitable dust collection device.
